| I need to make a quick note about points for participating. When you go the page that lists info about a particular race such as http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/864534 you will see towards the bottom the requirements for points. I assumed you get points for just entering but that's not the case. I entered 2 races this weekend and received 1 point. Points accumulate and that's how you get the prizes.
Also when making a character for a race, just click on the race you want to enter and make your character. No need to adjust any settings. You'll know you're in the race because you'll see yellow text pop up in the chat box giving out info about the race and the participants. Also the race maps might look different.
It was fun. It definitely makes the game more fun and keeps it from getting stale. |
